Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is 2 mi. e. off I-65 exit 78A (Harding Pl.), then just n. to 3777 Nolensville Pike. The 85-acre zoo features global wildlife, including white rhinoceros, spider monkeys, giraffes, lemurs, cougars and Andean bears. Visitors can walk through Kangaroo Kickabout for an up-close look at red kangaroos, brush goats in Critter Encounters and crawl around with tortoises in Shell Station. Historic home tours, carousel rides, a seated zipline experience and a play area for children also are on-site. Keeper talks and animal feedings take place throughout the day.
