Pros: there was a bus/shuttle that took you to downtown for free and you just called and it picked you up.

Pros: Rooms were very clean. Entertainment was quite good on Thursday night.
Cons: Very disorganized! Some desk clerks chatting rather than attending to customers. Many employees wandering seemingly aimlessly around the lobby. Valets not keeping people in any order for shuttle. Tables not bussed in restaurant. The hotel's management is quite poor. No one seems to be overseeing the operation. Expected a quality hotel for the price.

Pros: Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Hotel was in a great location. Comfort was very good. Loved the balcony. Shuttle was great.
Cons: Only thing was the patio outside the restaurant needed some attention to cleaning.

Pros: I work in the hotel business and was VERY impressed with my entire experience at the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt. Much nicer than I even expected. I have already recommended the Hotel to a group of ladies looking for a place to stay in November. Great Value for the Dollar and excellent location. Although I did not use the Shuttle, because I was there on business, it is an excellent amenity. I also did not eat the breakfast that was included, but again, if I was a leisure guest, this would have been a great amenity as well. Cheese and Wine in Lobby each night was a nice touch as well. I was there for 4 nights and would definitely book this hotel again and will recommend to anyone else that is looking to stay in the Nashville area. One thing that really impressed me was that I received a "scam" call in my hotel room from someone claiming to be from the front desk, saying that their computer system went down and they needed to confirm all my information that I made my reservation with so they could put it back in the computer. Since I am in the hotel business, I knew this was a scam that is used to get credit card information from unsuspecting guests. I told the caller I would come down to the desk to give my information, and of course, they hung up. I did go down to the front desk and the Security Manager happened to be there and I told him what happened. Within an hour, the hotel was already sliding notes under guests doors and posted note at the front desk, to alert their guests about this. I was very impressed with their quick response to this, showing a true concern for their guests privacy and safety!
Cons: Only thing I could think of is maybe offering travelers that do not eat breakfast, some sort of parking credit. I received (8) Buffet Breakfast Vouchers, for my 4 night stay. Since I did not use them, it would have been great to get maybe just (1-2) days parking credit. Just a thought.
