Rippavilla Plantation

Rippavilla Plantation is at 5700 Main St. (US 31). This Greek Revival mansion has been carefully restored to its 1860s appearance and is furnished with many of the home's original pieces. Guides explain the architecture and artifacts as well as the effects of the Civil War upon the plantation. An original slave cabin and the restored Freedmen Bureau School are on-site. Special events are offered.
