Two galleries display Native American and early settler artifacts dating from 10,000 BC to the 1930s and highlight the five national parks in East Tennessee. A transportation display chronicles transportation from horse-drawn buggies to motorized vehicles. A seasonal concert series takes place in a 500-seat amphitheater. Festivals, lectures and other events are offered year-round.
