12th Armored Division Memorial Museum is at 1289 N. Second St. Organized in 1942, the 12th Armored Division trained at Camp Barkeley and fought in France, Austria and Germany during World War II. The museum describes the division's history along with that of the Second World War through displays of armored vehicles, period weapons, flags, uniforms and photographs. A seven-part diorama depicts the 1945 Herrlisheim battle, and veterans describe their experiences in video presentations.
