There are booths in the main dining room that can be closed off with a velvet curtain for a totally private dining experience. Very a-la-prohibition.
AAA Inspector Notes
If you don't like feeling that formal dining is disappearing to make room for a more casual version that involves more appearance than substance, then this is the place for you. The servers are formally dressed, well versed on the menu and devoid of pretentiousness. Dine on items like lump crabcake, oysters Rockefeller, ahi tuna and, of course, a selection of steaks. The setting is decidedly formal, yes, and dark, but the staff will make you feel like family. The bar offers mid-day dining.
