Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center is 4 mi. e. of SR 31 on FM 2495. More than 300,000 gallons of aquarium exhibits display every major species of freshwater fish found in Texas. The center includes a dive show auditorium, a fishing museum, an angler's pavilion, wetland trails and a casting pond. Catch-and-release fishing equipment is provided. A 15-minute tram ride takes visitors on a tour of the outdoor hatchery. Guided tours are available.
