Pros: Staff was friendly, room was clean, decent location, modern
Cons: Bathroom was tiny, room was next to stairwell which added noise, AC unit very noisy, AC unit lets in a lot of outside noise, pillows are small and lumpy, parking spaces too small

Pros: I have previously been a relatively dedicated Hilton fan (with all things being equal on location and relatively close on pricing, I'll choose Hilton). I think this stay at the Drury has changed that for me. The staff was incredibly warm and real (not just fake for the purpose of doing their jobs), the food in the morning (and at night!) was name-brand stuff like Pillsbury biscuits, Quaker oatmeal, etc. They offer three free alcoholic drinks per night during their evening meal, and the bartender Julia is hilarious. She was wearing a nametag showing she had been an employee since 1993, and the GM standing next to her had been there since 1994. How does that even happen? The bed was comfy, the bathroom was welcoming, and everything was very clean. They even have 5 GHz WiFi! It really is like being at home.
Cons: The towels were a bit scratchy, and the property is an older design (even though it looks to have been recently remodeled).

Pros: The staff were very pleasant and were always smiling. The rooms were clean and inviting every evening when I got back. The area felt secure while parking/walking in the night and the hotel is right next to restaurant chains. Personally, I would try the local food but know that you have options if you don't feel like getting in the car and driving 30-40 minutes through traffic for some good eats.
