AAA Inspector Notes
You'll like the modern and spacious rooms. The large TV is great for catching a show and the upscale vanities give you plenty of counter space to place your things. Closets are open style.
Smoke free premises. 86 units. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Cons: most awful experience with customer service. wrongfully kicked out. when austin PD is on your side/agree with you but they are stuck in the middle, you know you're not wrong.
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Location and parking situation
Will stay here next time...
Pros: they had hot pockets for purchase in the lobby
Pros: Everything was great from the room to breakfast was amazing. The location was the best part. Minutes away from everything to do in Austin.
Cons: Once the a/c turn off the room got really hot till it kicked back on. The elevator was hot as well. Needs some a/c in there.
Has potential but needs to...
Pros: Could get into and out of Austin relatively easily by bus an taxi.
Staff tried to be helpful.
Cons: Poor internet service - very poor connection.
Breakfast with plastic cutlery/polystyrene plates and bowls is not enjoyable; tables not cleaned; stocking of breakfast could be better (no hot water for drinks; new staff not fully trained on what is on offer).
No shuttle bus to Austin and reception did not know about local bus services; they are actually very good but we had to find this out for ourselves. (No 1 bus/$1.25 one-way from end of Little Texas Lane - 15 minute stroll).
Air conditioning was noisy.
Expensive when these issues taken into account.
Staff were pleasant but ? training issues.
Pros: Mostly very clean
Cons: TV was so old the picture was downright dark. Even after maintenance made it brighter.
Toilet ring/cover was so cheap/thin, you couldn't sit on it. Where did you find those?
I have never seen any that chinsey.
