AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Landscape/gardens): The colorful variety of beautiful blooms created by the 950+ rose bushes here make my inspections much more enjoyable.
Texas charm and abundant, beautiful landscaping greets you at the stylish hotel. Rooms with double beds either have a wet bar or a sofa for extra seating.
Smoke free premises. 51 units. 3 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Pros: Clean, clean, clean. I cannot say that enough. Staff was friendly. The room was very nice and wow what a view.
This hotel is a clean, attractive hotel for the area and community. There are many wedding venues within 20 to 40 miles so is convenient for those occasions .
Pros: The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained.
Cons: The breakfast offered was the average choices that you find at hotels in this star level, so was ok. The food is not very good quality and it lacks a lot.
Nice place, horrible customer service.
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful property.
Cons: Breakfast is included in price. Breakfast ends at 830, however at 8am there was nothing left on a Saturday morning. When asked if more food was coming out, I was told no since it was 30 minutes from breakfast ending and new management didn't want it replenished. For the price of the room, breakfast was the least they could provide as a courtesy.
I did voice my concern to management. I was not looking to be appeased. They did not sound sorry for the inconvenience that morning. Instead, the manager said he was able to get eggs and a tortilla at 8am so he wasn't sure how my family and I missed anything at breakfast. Clearly eggs and tortillas were not the only offerings that morning, and if breakfast is until 830, I'm expecting to get breakfast until 830.
Will never stay at Blanco...
Pros: Staff was rude. Hotel was dated. Service was poor. My first bad experience with Best Western Hotels.
Cons: Owner/manager was rude. Service was poor. Hotel was dated and old.
Pros: Kids loved the waffles and I enjoyed the selection
Cons: My wife thought the bed was to firm
Enjoyed my stay.
Pros: Great location and very lovely landscape.
Cons: Small sofa in the first room I was booked had torned seams on one of cushions.
Overall good experience
Cons: Bed was little uncomfortable no remote for tv in the room
Cons: The beds are not comfortable...cheap feeling mattress and non-existent covers. It should be more luxurious and create a restful experience.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Beautiful restroom. Very luxurious. Garden n Gazebo was maintained w pride. We took beautiful pictures.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: We stayed there on New Years Eve. We had three couples in three rooms. The man at the front desk was unpleasant. He made us feel bad for using booking.com. He told us it really wan't a 'valid reservation" He said he could give our room away if he wanted to. When we booked the reservation ( weeks in advance) we called the hotel to ask if there was some sort of shuttle...he was not helpful at all.
He was not friendly and made us feel unwelcome there.
In the morning a different person was at the front desk. I stood there for several moments before he even spoke to me. I just wanted to know if they had coffee. He didn't look up from his phone and just pointed.
I would not stay here again!!
Good for overnight stay.
Pros: Close to the few restaurants in town. Near highway.
