Pros: Check in was good, the extra $20 fee was expected so not surprised. Room was nice with brand new mattresses. Room was large & clean, good view but springtime bees in the blooming shrubs so didn't sit on balcony during our stay. Family pool looked awesome!
Cons: No information on check in about what entertainment they had that night, didn't know there was an adult pool until we spotted it on the map and if the pool snack bar grill was open. We went to local Mexican restaurant because of onsite prices.

Pros: The salt cave at the spa was unique, but of course costs extra. The pool has a water slide, but it was shut down at 5pm due to being short staffed (at the beginning of summer?)...
Cons: Girl at outdoor bar was not knowledgeable about pool/slide hours. Room was very outdated/hardly decorated (2 pictures hung, no paint, curtains torn). On-site restaurant was pricey for the property. Seems they're surviving solely due to the golf course.

The stay was enjoyable but...
Pros: The property was really very beautiful. We enjoyed the pool area (one that included children) and the bar service there.
Cons: I did not like the resort fee that was charged. I was not informed of that when I called and did not play golf. It is too much money for this facility. The hotel itself needs updating and the resort fee should NOT be charged to everyone. It is simply not that upscale.
