Armstrong County Museum is 1 blk. n. of US 287 at 120 N. Trice St. Three historic downtown buildings are dedicated to the history of the Panhandle region. Exhibits chronicle the Red River Indian Wars, the founding of the 1.3-million-acre JA Ranch and the relocation of the Southern buffalo herd. A performance is presented once a month in the Gem Theater. An art gallery features local artists.
