Pros: I loved how close shopping was. Everything from groceries to office supplies was within two blocks! The hotel was very accommodating in holding my laptop, and allowing me a later checkout due to my conference not finishing until checkout time. The part of the fridge under the freezer kept my iced water frozen! And the water I put on the door was very, very cold, and that is a BIG plus. The nonsmoking hotel had ashtrays outside so I didn't feel too ostracized when I went out for a smoke.
Cons: No hotel safe. It would have been nice to store my laptop in the room.

Pros:
Cons: We booked a King room and when we checked in they put us in a handicap accessible room. I called the front desk, but there wasn't anywhere else to put us. The lady said something about college move-in weekend, families, blah, blah. Bottom-line is I did not book an "accessible" room. The room was huge itself. The bathroom vanity was tiny, no cabinet space at all, nowhere to put any of our bathroom items except on the floor, etc. Of course the shower was walk-in, so no tub. The room was immediately across the hall from the elevator, so was very noisy as people came and went. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillows were horrible. Still have a crick in my neck. For $234/night plus taxes, etc, I really expect more. To top it off, the same dead cricket on the floor under the bathroom sink remained there through two full cleanings from housekeeping. This was our second or third time to stay here and we just won't spend the money there again. The access off of Texas Ave. is at times very poor. We have told ourselves in the past not to book there again, but they had rooms and the availability last minute in College Station is not good. Way over-priced for what they have to offer.

Cons: Couldn't get Wifi to work and satellite was out for a while. Would have been nice to have other choices Of flavored creamers.
