Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History is in Bayfront Arts and Science Park at 1900 N. Chaparral St. Visitors can explore the 1554 Spanish shipwreck and the 1686 French LaBelle shipwreck. Replicas of Columbus' ships, the Pinta (available for tours) and Santa Maria, are moored outside the museum. Other areas of interest include the Children's Wharf and the history and natural history wings. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
$9; $7 (ages 3-12 and 60+); $4.50 (active military with ID).
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5 (also Mon. 10-5, in Mar. and June-Aug.). Closed Jan. 1, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
