Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures and Education Center is at 1809 N. Chaparral St. Life in Asia is portrayed through exhibits of pottery, kimonos, bronzeware, watercolors, Japanese dolls, masks, funerary and ancient Hindu art as well as objects from the Tang, Sung and Ming dynasties. A Buddhist art exhibit contains a large bronze Buddha made in 1766.
