Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance is at 211 N. Record St., Suite 100. Dedicated to educating the public about the importance of tolerance and compassion, the museum features permanent and changing exhibits about the Nazi regime's systematic extermination of Jews and other groups during World War II. Audio guides, available in English and Spanish, provide narration during the self-guiding tour. Of interest is the Garden of Remembrance. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.

Hours: Mon.-Fri. 9:30-5, Sat.-Sun. 11-5. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, July 4, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
