Pros: It was a nice clean hotel. Beds were comfortable and coffee was good.
Cons: WiFi in my room was usable but a little weak.
Pros: Close to destination
Cons: Exercise room. Hampton in Laporte has managers receptions
Needs water pressure!
Pros: It was a clean facility, I felt safe and it was located perfectly to my business meeting.
Cons: The wi-fi wasn't free - I paid $4.95 for high speed as I had a webinar I had to do. Also, there was NO water pressure.
Pros: Breakfast was awesome..rooms were very clean. Area was nice
Pros: Great staff, excellent location! Very clean hotel!
Cons: Beds were hard as a rock! Very limited selection for breakfast! Water pressure in shower VERY low!
Pros: Location, bed, pillows
Cons: My trip was a 2 night stay to visit family as well as to work.Arrived about 10:00pm. Walking into the lobby the smell of "stinky arm pit" was overwhelming! It reeked in the elevator & 2nd floor hallway. I was alone and right off the bat my key card wouldn't work. Had made it up to my room with my bags/boots/pillow/special food/computer.. only to have to leave them in the hallway to go back to the front desk because my key didn't work. (Will mention here, I have stayed in enough hotels I know not to put a keycard close to my cell phone) Once I got in my room, I went down the hall to get ice & a Coke Zero & the ice machine & Coke machine were "off" on my floor, had to go down to 1st floor for ice but Coke machine didn't work .. When I asked at the front desk I was told they turn the machines off and sell from the lobby, she presented me with a hot Coke Zero from under the counter. Back in my room the AC didn't work...the unit was "on" (that's what the screen displayed) but adjustments couldn't be made. When I asked a hotel worker she said the AC was already " set". Had to be sure I had on shoes or wore slippers at all times in room as the carpet was sticky (yuk). The walls/floors were paper thin... the noise from adjoining rooms was annoying, you could hear their every movement & in the morning I could hear housekeeping tap on each door down the entire hallway. The next night, I arrived exhausted from not having slept the night before and then from a full day of activities only to find my keycard didn't work...so back to the down to the front desk again!I did not sleep the 2 nights I was there..."arm pit" smell, hot & noisy! My son came in later and stayed in a room here and had similar complaints in addition his coffee maker didn't work.
Cons: I know it isn't the hotel's fault but there was a cockroach in my bathtub. Everything was great up until that point.
One night before cruise
Pros: Staff helpful and polite. We ate at a Mexican along the road from the hotel fantastic food and service. This was recommended by the lady at the front desk.
Cons: Please note no alcohol bar because of city limits.
Overall a nice comfortable stay...
Pros: Staff - Management, Housekeeping
Cons: Malfunctioning fire alarm in the middle of the night awoke us. Subsequent work on alarm system disabled elevator. Keep coffee hot and juices available after breakfast is finished.
