Window on the Plains Museum is at 1820 S. Dumas Ave. Displays feature pioneer-era memorabilia donated by local families and include Native American artifacts, period clothing and antiques. A replica of a circa 1920s home as well as a blacksmith shop, general store and drug store are on-site. Farm equipment and a miniature-tractor display illustrate the importance of agriculture to the area. An art center with rotating exhibits is adjacent to the museum.
