Museum of South Texas History

Museum of South Texas History is at 200 N. Closner Blvd. The museum has two facilities: a state-of-the-art museum and, across the courtyard, the 1910 Jail Annex. The museum's premier permanent exhibition, Rio Grande Legacy—featuring unique artifacts, cutting-edge multimedia exhibits and bilingual text—takes visitors on a journey through the history of the region. The 1910 Jail features changing exhibits; a park adjoins the grounds.
