Fort Bliss and Old Ironsides Museums is off US 54, following signs to Bldg. 1735 on Marshall Rd. Museum exhibits chronicle the histories of the U.S. Army and the 1st Armored Division in El Paso. An adjacent park contains tanks and other vehicles. Facing the main parade ground on Pleasonton Road is a replica of the 1854 Old Fort Bliss. Four adobe buildings contain exhibits depicting the lives and daily routines of 1850s soldiers and civilians.
Note: Visitors ages 16 and older must have photo ID, vehicle registration and proof of insurance to enter Fort Bliss.
