Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, 128 E. Exchange Ave. inside Barn A within the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, honors more than 100 world-champion cowboys and cowgirls. Individual booths contain personal memorabilia and a DVD depicting each hall-of-famer's life and career. Said to be the world's largest collection of lifestyle wagons, the Sterquell Wagon Collection features more than 60 wagons, carriages and sleighs. Other exhibits include the John Justin Trail of Fame, Chisholm Trail Exhibit, Zigrang Bit Collection and Adventures of the Cowboy Trail. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$5; $4 (ages 13-17, ages 60+ and college students with ID); $3 (ages 5-12); free (military with ID); $15 (family, two adults and up to 4 children ages 5-12).
Hours: Mon.-Thurs. 9-5, Fri.-Sat. 10-7, Sun. 11-5. Last admission 30 minutes before closing. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
