Platia means "town center," and had I not been looking at the mega-mall across the way, I may have believed I was at one in Greece. The dining room's rustic furniture, faux-finish walls and home-grown music nicely re-create a small Grecian eatery. Dolmas, gyros, moussakas, souvlaki and pita sandwiches can all be enjoyed. The frequent ooh and ahh sounds result from guests watching servers prepare the flaming saganaki table side. The restaurant's popularity means very busy dinner hours. This is a family-run operation started by two sisters who wanted to continue a tradition their father started in Chicago.
