The Moody Mansion is at 2618 Broadway Ave. Built about 1895 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, the 32-room mansion was purchased by entrepreneur William L. Moody Jr. after the great hurricane of 1900. The interior features stained glass, carved wood, tile work, fancy plaster work and stenciling. Visitors can tour two floors where rooms are furnished in the opulence of a wealthy family in the early 1900s. Guided tours are available.
$12; $8 (ages 65+); $5 (students with ID); free (active military with ID).
Hours: Daily 10:30-5, Memorial Day-Labor Day; 11-3, rest of year. Last admission 1 hour before closing. Closed Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
