Fossil Rim Wildlife Center

Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is 3 mi. s.w. via US 67, then 1 mi. s. following signs on CR 2008. The 1,800-acre wildlife conservation facility is home to more than 1,100 exotic and endangered animals representing more than 50 species. Along the 7.2-mile, self-guiding Gosdin Scenic Drive are such species as cheetahs, giraffes, rhinoceroses, wildebeests and zebras. The 3-hour Behind-the-Scenes Tour and a 2-hour Safari Tour are among 14 tours offered. The Children's Animal Center is home to goats, birds and reptiles.
