Goliad State Park & Historic Site is .2 mi. s. on US 77A/183. The Texans slain during the Battle of Goliad are commemorated at the site. The 188-acre park features nature trails, quarry ruins, old brick and tile kilns and displays of Native American and Spanish colonial items. Guided tours are available. Pets on leash are allowed. Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
