Mesa is the antithesis to the loud and colorful Mexican restaurants you may be accustomed to. With its rustic elegance, glazed concrete floors and sculpted iron work, it's the kind of space that lends itself to conversation and privacy. The menu focuses on coastal cuisine, like the lobster enchilada, sautéed red fish and saucy ceviche. But traditional specialties, like the mole and cochinita pibil, should not be overlooked. The flavors, while authentic, are mild (not spicy).
