Children's Museum Houston is at 1500 Binz St. Interactive exhibits in 20 galleries represent such subjects as science, math, technology, culture and the arts. Zoom into an out-of-this-world math adventure in Cyberchase where those over age 3 can tackle math with hands-on activities based on the PBS show Cyberchase—The Chase is On. Take a look at South Korean culture through the eyes of children in Seoul in the Heart and Seoul exhibit. Whether youngsters want to push their imaginations by creating or building objects from various gadgets and materials in Invention Convention or Genius Station, or roll, spin and bounce their way through Newton Know-How!, there is something for everyone.

For older students there is Maker Annex where creativity can be tested with the use of 3D printers and laser cutters, and Power Science Lab where experiments are conducted in a hands-on chemical wet lab. Even creative thinkers and energetic explorers under age 2 have their own playspace in Tot*Spot. Other areas of interest include Challenge Course, FlowWorks, How Does It Work?, Inventor's Workshop, Kids' Hall, Kidtropolis, USA, Matter Factory, PowerPlay Fitness Adventure, Seasons of Sharing and SECRET Spy Game.

Outside, the solar-powered EcoStation is home to a native plant garden, pond habitat and a research pavilion with microscopes for looking at specimens.
