The Health Museum is at 1515 Hermann Dr. Throughout the museum, computer simulators, video touch screens and interactive exhibits provide hands-on learning about health and the workings of the human body. In the DeBakey Cell Lab, hands-on exhibits focus on cellular biology with an emphasis on teaching about how to test cheek cells, analyze sheep’s blood and exploring the enzymes in saliva.
Visitors can take a tour of the human body and learn about organs and bones inside the Amazing Body Pavilion or journey into the alien landscape of skin during the Planet You 3D film production. You: The Exhibit allows visitors to use body scanners, computer imaging and other multimedia and special-effects technology to explore their own bodies.
