Wyndham disappointed me for the...
Pros: The complimentary Seattle's Best coffee was a treat! The bed was super comfy! The Wenrest pillows were so amazing, I ordered them went I got home.
Cons: I flew in for a couple of days to attend my aunt's funeral service. There were many a shady things afoot during my stay here. Upon arrival, the receptionist was too busy on a personal call to check me in and once she decided that she DID want to work, she continued her phone call as she was doing so. Needless to say, I found myself answering the same questions over and over. During the entirety of my stay, my brother and I, on separate occasions, had to constantly close the side door that was always propped open. I asked management about this and was told that the door wasn't supposed to be open, however, EVERY TIME I passed by, it was. This sounds like a small issue but because this hotel is right off the highway, it's very dark at night on this particular side of the building and always seemed to be a shady looking gentleman with what looked to me like a "lady of the night" either standing near or entering said side door. The morning I was due to check out (but hours before), I'd come back upstairs to my room from grabbing a complimentary coffee (MAJOR PLUS), and found my room door propped open!!! What the "Criminal Minds" is going on here?! As, I was leaving to finally check out, there, steps away from my room door, on the hallway floor, was a used condom!!! EWWWW!! Oh, almost forgot, the exercise room and indoor pool weren't accessible as the temperature in both felt like a sauna! I was extremely disappointed in you Wyndham as you are ALWAYS my go-to hotel/resort! I will be thinking two and three times before trying another Wyndham location that is new to me. Most of my family stayed in the Staybridge across the way, and I must say, if ever I find myself in need of a hotel in Willowbrook, Houston, it will be Staybridge!!
