The dining room exudes charm in this restored mansion, which was built in 1923 by the founder of Exxon. The menu is split between modern, Texas-influenced European dishes and some longtime traditional favorites from the restaurant's past. Some local ingredients are incorporated. Items like braised beef short rib with corn veloute, red wine-stewed cabbage, mushrooms and veal demi-glace share spaces with snapper Cannes, which has lump crabmeat, tomato compote and lemon butter.
