This retro-fitted Amtrak train car/dining room makes me feel as if I am on the fast track back to the 1950's.
AAA Inspector Notes
Catering to a wide range of visitors, this spiffy railway diner is the setting for lip-blistering gumbo, overstuffed fried-seafood po'boys and boisterous fun. A special delight is the sweet ceviche-like campeche with cubed avocado and chopped onion. Dine in the old train car while taking in the décor with its obvious affection to fishing aficionados. Patrons range from suit-and-tie types to diners in cutoffs and flip-flops. A popular dining room here is a former Amtrak rail car. Viewing the restaurant from the exterior you still can see the original train car but the interior has been reconstructed into a nostalgic 1950's diner.
