Most of the patrons who fill this restaurant for the authentic experience are regulars who enjoy eating barbecued meat prepared on gas grills set into the tables. You may cook the meat yourself or the staff will assist. The meat sizzles when it is laid on the hot grill and the table is laden with dipping sauce, sticky rice, lettuce leaves for wrapping the meat and a half-dozen condiments that are robust with flavor. Many of the regulars are Korean, so that may speak to the authenticity of this eatery.
