The focus is on tapas with a varied menu of boldly flavored foods served in small portions. The selections include such items as olives, marinated mushrooms, grilled scallops with a tomato-sherry wine sauce, empanadas, Moroccan sausage and grilled lamb with couscous. Several selections of paella also are on the menu. The myriad choices allow diners to try several items for a reasonable price. It can get pretty crowded with Rice University students on nights when live music is featured.
