This restaurant's menu is stacked with Southern comfort dishes. Try the vegetable paella or the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and black pepper milk gravy, black-eyed peas, mustard greens and Lucy's corn pudding. There is something for everyone. The daily blackboard menus in the main dining area are chock-full of gourmet surprises such as salad with lime poppy seed dressing. The venue is elegant and plays host to private events and weddings. Be sure to make reservations on weekends. The Sunday brunch is filled with many delights, such as shrimp and cheese grits, chicken fried steak, French toast, eggs Benedict, cornmeal pancakes, and seafood crepes. The crepe is filled with shrimp, lump crab meat, red snapper and asparagus in a Béchamel sauce. The brunch includes bottomless refills of mimosas for a small price.
