AAA Editor Notes
Barton Warnock Visitor Center is 1 mi. e. on FM 170. Exhibits portray the natural history, geology and archeology of the Big Bend region. A courtyard showcases a yucca forest, and 2.5 acres of gardens are planted with local cacti, desert shrubs and trees. The center is the eastern entry point to Big Bend Ranch State Park.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
