The family-owned and -operated place has been feeding Pearland for more than 40 years. The name says it all—delicious down-home, hickory-smoked pit barbecue in the Texas tradition. The slow-smoked brisket and pork loin are excellent, as is the smoked turkey. The menu also includes ribs, chicken, smoked ham and jalapeño sausage. A good selection of fixins is also offered, including baked potatoes and home-style desserts. The décor is quaint and personal.
