AAA Inspector Notes
The office and living areas are designed well, with the desk facing the inside of the room instead of the wall. The two separate vanities make sharing a room more convenient. 50 units, some two bedrooms. 2 stories, interior corridors.

Pros: Location was good. Breakfast was fine. Staff was polite.
Cons: The room was a handicapped room, but there were only over head lights. Once a handicapped person got in bed, they have to get up an turn of the lights at a wall switch. The switch was placed at normal height, not good for a wheel chair person. One set of lights was burned our/did not work. We did not know this till the next morning. Bed was uncomfortable. Wheelchair access shower was nice, but water ran across floor. Toilet seat was cheap and did not fit the nice high toilet.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: My room had a strong smell of mold. I spent 3 nights. I requested to change room but the manager was busy taking care of another property. She showed up about 2 hours later like I had all day to wait for her. Looks like she was not able to take care of both things at once. She had my phone number because I gave it to the receptionist. At least she could have called to let me know she was running late and an approximate time she was coming so she gave me two options to leave or change the room but I was running late for my family reunion so I didn't have time for her only 2 options. The mold smell was so strong that all our clothes everyting ended up smelling like mold. Mold is unhealthy is a poison to your health. She blamed it on mother nature but there are many ways to prevent and keep it clean. If a customer gives a phone number and you are busy or doing something else at least call to give an estimate of time when you are coming. Acknowledge your customers. We are paying your salary by staying at this hotel. People are also busy and got important things to do. Do something to get rid of this strong mold smell.

Pros: Room accommodations were nice and the fact there was a hot complimentary breakfast was also really great.
Cons: The "hot" breakfast the first morning was pretty dismal. There was absolutely no kind of meat at all. There were tortillas for breakfast tacos and they only had eggs (which were so watery they looked like rubber swimming in a pool) hash browns and refried beans. Really disappointing. The next 2 mornings of our stay they finally put out some meat in the form of sausage but it didn't really make a difference in my attitude toward their breakfast items. The first might we stayed there, we were put in a room on the very end of the hallway next to the exit door. I thought, great!we won't have to go all the way to the front just to leave. That night starting around 3 or 4am, I was woken up to the constant slamming of that door right next to our door from workers leaving early for their jobs. This went on for hours!!! I tried going back to sleep but the walls were so thin that I heard the door opening and shutting for every person. By 6am I was livid and called the front desk asking that they move us to a different room. Which they did around 9am that morning, but the damage was already done.
