Pros: Quiet comfortable
family with older children
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly. They responded to our needs. The presence of a reasonably priced washer and dryer was really nice.
Cons: The whole place had a musty odor. Access from the Cameron highway is good. From Rockdale it is hard to get to the hotel.

Pros: We enjoyed the continental breakfast and comfortable beds and great A/C... HOT SUMMER this year
Cons: Not enough Towels in room but since we travel a lot we have learned not to depend on others for our comfort needs as far as enough towels.. We had 2 preschoolers and a teenage daughter and 3 towels.. Not that big of a deal...

Pros: The facility is very good but there were issues with the reservation. The local management blamed the issues on booking and when I spoke with booking they seemed to blame the issues on the facility!
Cons: The management at the property completely messed up my reservation. They changed room type without notifying me. They blamed for errors I know they made and when I arrived at the facility the management told me that I made all my reservations through booking, that they were not responsible for the changes to my reservation among other things. I contacted the hotel directly to make a reservation several months before my arrival. I was the first one to make a reservation at this facility. I know this because our family originally decided to stay in Cameron where our reunion was but later decided to move it after conferring with me! They conferred with me because I had stayed at this facility last October and I informed them of how well I thought of the premises! After conveying my dismay with the manner in which the hotel personnel mishandled my reservation I received a telephone call from someone at the hotel telling me that they did not know I was part of the reunion and they would adjust my price back to sixty four ninety nine ! I was told by this individual that he and the general manager, I assume, were Christians! My brother and I left and arrived at the Rockdale Days Inn on Wednesday with the intention of accruing our room early. It was then that all of the incompetence began! The I think the gentleman I spoke to when we arrived was the general manager. He began to reflect everything I had to say about the reservation telling me that the problem was with and they never spoke to me on the phone, etc.The end result are I was told there were no double queen beds, no one from the hotel spoke to me personally, I did not make reservations for two double beds and a host of other stories!Needless to say, I am perturbed and I will never stay at that facility in Rockdale ever again and I am probably never going to use for any reservations in the future!
