Very Poor

Pros: It was close to our offices.
Cons: I believe it's being remodeled. Far too expensive for what it is and it seemed as if I was the only guest. Creepy feeling.

Disappointing
Pros: Shawn (I think was his name), the guy at the front desk was awesome! He was friendly and helpful. He was the only saving grace of this place.
Cons: We came through heading to a funeral of a loved one. We were exhausted and couldn't wait to get a much needed restful sleep in a cool, comfortable room before finishing our trip the next morning. We told them we would be a late check in, which we were. It was almost 10:30 at night when we arrived. It was 104 that day and the air conditioner was not on in the room. It was in the 90's in the room. The though of trying to sleep in a 90+ temp room on top of what we were facing the next day made me sit down and cry, literally. It was so late and we were so weary, we decided to try to make the most of it, so we took cold showers and laid on top of the covers with the a/c going, in hopes of it cooling enough to sleep, which it finally did ... in the middle of the night. And upon arriving, I searched up and down the hall for the ice machine, as did another person. I finally found it next to the elevator (further in and in an indented area, and not marked. I accidentally came upon it, after walking the hall 3 times. The other person had, too, and was so thankful I found it. The hotel looks good from the highway, although it was sort of hard to get to. FYI you get to it via the road behind it, there is no entrance from Hwy 35. The parking was good. It was clean enough, although the hall smelled a bit musty. But.... why would a hotel not cool their rooms when the temps are over 100? I'm sure it took more electricity to cool down everything in the room with those high temps than it would to keep it at a moderate temp that would be much easier to cool down. Not an economical or restful choice. Comfort and rest are the reasons we need a hotel room. I won't be staying there, again. Sorry.
