Hemisfair is bounded by I-37, César E. Chávez Blvd., and Market and Alamo sts. The 92-acre area was the site of San Antonio's World's Fair in 1968, which marked the city's 250th anniversary. It now is the center of downtown recreation and entertainment. The four-acre Yanaguana Garden, at Alamo Street and César E. Chávez Blvd., features a children’s play area, splash pad, ping-pong tables, foosball and chess/checker tables.
