San Antonio Missions National Historical Park includes four sites throughout the city; the visitor center is at 6701 San Jose Dr. next to Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo. With the Alamo, these 18th-century missions were Spain's outposts along its northern frontier. A park map is available at the visitor center, which offers an orientation film and exhibits. A riverside hiking and biking trail connects all of the missions.
Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.).
