Pros: Refunded my parking fee after unsatisfactory experience. The kitchen staff was attentive and provided great service.

Pros: The hotel appears to be an old Mission. It has a historical plague. Lobby area is nice. Front Desk staff polite, and engaging. The location is good. The bed very comfortable. The pillows plentiful. Cleaning Staff non-intrusive.
Cons: There was one elevator, and it was slow.(only five floors)The room smell of mildew.The refigerator in the room leaks,and runs on the carpet. It has been leaking for a long time. The ice machines are only on two floors, vending machines out of service.

Cons: Very serious mold issue. Overpowering odor when you opened the door to our room. We moved to 3 rooms before finding one suitable. 2nd room the AC was dripping water onto carpet. Area between bed and wall was soaked. No exhaust fans in the bathrooms.

Pros: The staff was very friendly. It was extremely hot out and it was very nice to come back to a very well air conditioned room. The breakfast provided was very nice as well. It is not right on the Riverwalk, but is within walking distance.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were not what we expected. The picture provided on here made the pool appear much larger than it was. Also, the hot tub was not working during our stay.

Pros: The staff was excellent in helping in any way they could. Called ahead of time and Savannah assisted me on several things since we were traveling a good ways to stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable.
Cons: The coke machine only accepts American Express cards, we were thirsty after walking back to the hotel and were unable to get anything to drink, would be better if it accepted cash. For first time travelers to the San Antonio area we didn't like the location too far from the main attractions, especially if you don't know your way around. The breakfast area was way too crowded as well, needs more room.

Cons: I was given a key to an occupied room not just once but twice.When I came back to the register to let him know about me disturbing a room in the second floor,I was given another room in the first floor, which was also occupied and disturbed another custumer that was already sleeping.How would you like the experience of somebody trying to open your hotel room in the middle of the night?When I checked out early the next morning,I booked 3 rooms for $89.95 nonrefundable rate and another room for $99.95 refundable rate.The same clerk from the night before interchanged the rates the other way around .My bill was settled after several minutes of discussion ,with me showing him my phone for my confirmed reservation.I also showed him a towel in our room with a tear in the middle and looks like shoe print dirts around.And the worst part of my experience?not even a word of apology from the clerk who seems to be the only employee that's running the hotel.

Cons: We checked in kind of late on 5/5/17 waited in lobby for about 10 minutes finally the guys that was on staff came down and he looked like he had just gotten out of bed, shirt untucked, hair was a mess, he gave us keys to room 211 and when we went up to the room the bed was undone, I called down to the counter and he said he will meet us up in room 511 air condition did not work, again I called back down and he gave me a different room 214 this room towels where still wet and they looked like they where just thrown on the counter, also toilet was not working. We stayed in this room as it was now 1 am and we need to be up at 6am for a soccer tournament.

Pros: The rooms were quite large, and the location was good. It was only a five minute walk to the river walk, maybe 10 to the Alamo, but it's set back off the street so it wasn't noisy. Some people have mentioned the amount of homeless people in the area. I did see quite a few homeless around, but mostly because the bus comes through on a street near the hotel. I didn't have any problems as a young female walking alone in the area, I just made sure I didn't stay out too late out of an abundance of caution. The daytime staff were very nice. The pool area was small but pleasant.
Cons: I didn't know until I got there that the building was the county jail from the 1800s till the mid 1900s. Apparently they even did executions inside the building. I'm a huge scaredy cat, so that kind of freaked me out.
