Pros: It was cute and cozy - also located within walking distance to many downtown attractions.
Cons: I know that one of the appeals of a b&b is that the staff is more involved - but the staff here were overbearing to me! For example, there are codes to get into the buildings. When I arrived and obviously hadn't been told the code yet, another hotel guest who was on the porch gave it to me. I then watched as he was scolded by the inn keeper about not giving out the code! Also - we had to tell the inn keeper if we weren't going to make it to breakfast, which I did as per her instructions. The following day, my travel mate and I received four back to back phone calls asking about breakfast for the rest of the weekend! I found it very annoying. I felt like I was staying at my grandmas house or something. Not fun.

Pros: Staff was super kind and helpful. Megan called the day before to help me with driving instructions; I had neglected to notice that SXSW was in Austin that week, and would've driven straight through that mess without their help. The room was adorable and comfy, the location was perfect. Once checked-in, we were recommended a bunch of fun things to do/see/eat, all within walking distance. We parked our car when we got there and didn't need to use it the whole time. Breakfast was delish!
