Pros: It was a great location, very close to our event
Cons: We used to always stay at this location a couple of years back, loved it. It was a classy hotel, clean, no kids, happy hour, food & staff were excellent.
Now it looks like it mainly attracts families with lots of kids. Great place to stay if you have kids or a large family and want to save money to fit in one room.
Not a place to stay if you prefer to not be around kids, be woken up by kids running around unattended late at night, or wake up in the morning and want to sit in their once beautiful outside patio to view empty alcohol beverages, trash laying around by the pool area.
When we arrived and headed to our rooms we noticed the carpets leading to the rooms were full of drink fruit stains. Another disturbing matter was our bed cover & sheets. We noticed dog hair on bed cover and when we pulled back the cover it was on the sheets too. We had to have housekeeping bring up clean sheets & bed covers.
Breakfast: While waiting in line to order breakfast, we saw kids & adults touching everything and sometimes putting back food they had touched with their hands! Adults lending their bare bodies on the ordering windows where the condiments sit uncovered. We saw an adult sneeze onto the condiments and not say anything! After witnessing this we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. On our way out we decided to taste their coffee, it was the worst coffee I have ever had.
And to top it off the elevators stop working on the day we were heading out.
Unfortunately we had prepaid our rooms otherwise we would have gone and stayed elsewhere. We will never stay at this hotel again. For the price we paid we should have been a 3.5 or 4 hotel it was more like a 2.
Was Ok but not worth...
Pros: It was convenient to UTSA (which is why we went) and they offered us a shuttle there and back. You could see Six Flags from our room and on July 4th the fireworks display was awesome.
Cons: The room wasn't as clean as it should have been, especially for the price. There was mold in the shower. The beds weren't very comfy and there was no hot water on the 2nd morning. However, they did comp one night due to those things.
Pros: I am disappointed. This hotel used to be an excellent place to stay.
Cons: This hotel attracts shady guest. At the breakfast buffet, a woman sneezed into the buffet area. Then, she leaned over the glass and sneezed again. I was sick!
Pros: Happy hour
Cons: Sofa bed too uncomfortable
Cons: Stuff was broken
Cons: smelled like mildew in the hallway.
Poor maintenance, dirty hallways, don't...
Pros: Lobby is nice
Cons: Wall A/C unit was unexpected in a high rise - expected modern A/C but instead has very noisy wall units that run nearly all night.
Hall rugs are very dirty.
Some lights not working in room, phone handset dead battery. One lamp had a pink??? light in it - very strange and too dim.
Signs everywhere in parking light saying beware of losing property.
Jacuzzi too dirty to get into, not cleaned for the 3 days we were there.
A little expensive for just...
Pros: The bed was firm and I liked that. I hate that I didn't get to enjoy the room or other facilities as much especially for the price that we paid, but it was a very nice room.
Cons: The price.
Pros: Location, and the service of the restaurant staff
Cons: The atitute and service from the staff of the reception, very rude and no helpfull
