I love this place because it is Tex without the Mex. My favorites include chicken liver pate, yellow fin tuna and duck three ways.

The blackened prime rib is seared in Cajun spices and the seafood has a Southern flair. Try the delicious homemade chicken and tortilla soup with avocado, queso fresco, cilantro and calabacitas. Finish with the slightly tart lemon chess pie that is well balanced with homemade whipped cream. Settle down with their signature prickly pear margarita, which is served frozen with fresh lime and prickly cactus-pear puree. The friendly staff welcomes you to this gem, though service can be a bit slow when busy.
