AAA Inspector Notes
Located in the historic Pearl brewhouse, this trendy eatery has a rustic and industrial design throughout with original accents that pay homage to the building's past. The restaurant has raised the culinary bar by creating a menu of coastal-influenced, Southern dishes that incorporate seasonal produce and use as much of the animal as possible. This is evident in dishes like the fried half chicken with bacon-thyme red eye gravy, the whole crispy gulf flounder and the fried snapper throats. Beer connoisseurs will appreciate their commitment to honoring the tradition of the historic brewery by crafting their own rotating varieties in-house. I enjoyed Hasbulla’s Revenge, a delicious pitch black Russian beer.
