Pros: This was my first experience with Microtel -- and I loved it! I love the simplicity of the layout. The contemporary, contained design of the desk and accessories and closet really appealed to me.
I like the affordability factor.
Cleanliness is always very important, so that was perfect as well. Plus your staff person at the front desk could not have been more gracious.
I enjoyed the layout design so much that I'm looking for other Microtels during my travels now.

Pros: It was very clean and the staff was very professional, very easy to get to off of the Interstate. The breakfast was very good with many choices.
Cons: The only problem I had with this hotel is on the website when I made the reservation it stated that Microtel Inns had a $10.00 per night pet fee and that was fine. When we checked it we were told that the pet fee was $25.00.

Did not have the usual pull-up lever to start the shower. Front desk clerk came up and was talking to someone on the phone who provided instructions and we finally got it started. The device was difficult to operate too. Change the shower starter device.

Cons: Breakfast is served too late in the morning. 7 AM is too late for our normal start time when traveling. Swimming pool was too cold to use.

Pros: This hotel was immaculately kept! It is new and still looked and smelled new. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had the best possible experience. Pros: Very clean and presentable with numerous added comforts in the room and in the lobby/common areas. The staff were all very pleasant and always had smiles on their faces. Cons: Doors slam loud..not a big problem except when one is sound asleep and the room next door (around 11:00) is occupied....and the door is opened and slamed a couple of times. :-|
