State Line Ave. Housed in an 1879 brick building, this museum traces the region's history from the early Caddo Indians through 20th-century citizens, including early industry, post-World War II and the civil rights movement. In addition to the Native American Gallery, the Scott Joplin Gallery is dedicated to the composer's early life and career in Texarkana.
