Tyler Municipal Rose Garden is at 420 Rose Park Dr. Some 38,000 rosebushes representing 500 varieties blossom among 14 acres of tall pines, fountains, ponds, reflection pools, gazebos and archways. The Heritage Rose and Sensory Garden has antique rose varieties dating back to 1867. The garden is fully bloomed in mid-April and mid-October; roses still are visible in-between that time frame. The Rose Museum features historical exhibits about the Texas Rose Festival and the state's rose industry. The museum’s Attic of Memories exhibit features memorabilia from local residents.
