Pros: This was my first time in Turks & Caicos and therefore at The Palms as well. The accommodations were great, the staff wonderful, went out of their way to make us comfortable. Extremely kind and courteous. I would definitely come back again.
Cons: The only negative I could offer is that boutique shops on the property were overly expensive. I saw a few beautiful items of clothing, accessories, items for the home etc.; however very expensive.

Pros: Nice resort on beautiful beach. Enjoyed the complimentary water sports. Bed and pillows were so comfy!
Cons: Food at resort was expensive and not very good. Free breakfast could use a change up now and then. French toast and pancakes okay but always cold.

Pros: Breakfast staff very nice, lunch staff wonderful, and an efficient and thorough evening time Manager on Duty. Great beach on property with complementary paddle boards, kayaks and Hobie cats.
Cons: A mix up with the room booking occured upon check in, which detracted from the very important 'first impression'. Large corporate reduced rate-group on the property for the whole week, which resultated in among other things a decreased meal selection. As the group were on a meal plan, the rest of us who were full paying guest were therefore also forced to a limited meal selection. This was disappointing to say the least.

Pros: The resort was beautiful. The beach is perfect and the pool is dreamy. The service was excellent. The rooms were so elegant. I can't imagine staying anywhere else and being so pleased. The breakfast was like those I've had at European hotels with every possible option - it was our best meal each day.
Cons: I'd love to be able to get ice independently, rather than call the desk and wait for it (only briefly, mind you, since service is fabulous) but it seems silly. Drinks at the pool/beach with the service charge and tax are LITERALLY $17 each, which is too steep for my budget so we had just a couple, then we bought some vodka and lemonade at the grocery store in Regent Square (using the free bikes) and it was great. Also, the town (to Regent Square) and the beach are very walkable yet hotel staff always encourage that you take an unnecessary and costly taxi.

Pros: Location is fantastic. Staff were friendly but slightly unpolished. Breakfast was solid but not extraordinary.
Cons: The facility is starting to show its age and it looks like some general maintenance items are falling behind. For example, there was water damage to the ceiling in the entry way to our building that looked like it had been there for a while. Bedding was old and lumpy.
